WHAT THE SIGNALS MEAN

• Source: the organization, sensor network, public feed, or publisher that supplied data.
• Observation: the value, position, report, or event received from that source.
• Claim: an interpretation that connects one or more observations.
• Assessment: a bounded summary that states evidence, uncertainty, and implications without turning correlation into proof.

ClaudeWar cards should keep source facts separate from AI-assisted interpretation. Open the primary source whenever the distinction matters.

Confidence describes evidence quality and corroboration, not certainty. Confidence can reflect source reliability, freshness, geolocation precision, independent corroboration, and review status. It does not predict an outcome or guarantee that an interpretation is correct.

ClaudeWar uses related language for three systems. They answer different questions and must not be combined into one score.

Breaking Alerts identify multiple unrelated live streams aligning in the same region and time window. Severity reflects the breadth and quality of aligned evidence. It does not establish battlefield confirmation, causation, or intent.

Market Signal Engines identify market themes only when multiple market or intelligence conditions align. “No alert” means no theme met its multi-condition rule during the latest check. It is a normal quiet-state reading.

Portfolio Geo Risk measures recent intelligence overlap near sector-relevant anchors; it is not a buy or sell signal. Crypto assets use a macro overlay because a single geographic anchor is not an appropriate model.

Airport Distress groups recent nearby threat evidence around an airport. Multi-threat means at least two different threat types are present. It does not mean the airport is closed, damaged, or under attack.

Strategic Installation Activity ranks verified and probable public-source installations by fresh nearby evidence. Proximity and multi-threat labels provide context; they do not prove activity, readiness, causation, or intent.

AIS

Automatic Identification System vessel broadcasts. Coverage and participation are incomplete.

ADS-B

Aircraft position broadcasts received by ground or satellite networks.

MMSI

Maritime Mobile Service Identity used to identify participating vessels or stations.

GeoJSON

A geographic data format for points, lines, and polygons.

TLE

Two-line orbital element data used to estimate satellite positions.

Ephemeris

A calculated table of celestial positions over time.

An internal evidence-quality label. It does not replace independent editorial verification.
